Marsden Cuckoo Festival

When: 24 April 2010
Where: Marsden, West Yorkshire

Marsden Cuckoo Festival (http://www.cuckoofestival.co.uk). The arrival of the cuckoo means the arrival of Spring, this was thought to be prolonged by Marsden residents by building a wall around where the bird nested (of course the bird flew away!).....they philosophically concluded that "It were nobbut just wun course too low!" Frumptarn will bring Spring & colour to Marsden by arriving by train at 12.42 p.m. and then playing at 1.00 p.m. at Wessen Court, 2.30 p.m. outside Riverside Pub and 3.30 p.m. outside The United Church before the start of the Duck Race!


Shepley Folk Festival

When: 21-23 May 2010
Where: Shepley, West Yorkshire

Shepley Folk Festival (http://www.shepleyspringfestival.com). Frumptarn are invited back after succesfully appearing last year & will be playing at various times on the Saturday & Sunday in the village and on the showground at this Pennine Festival of Music & Dance. A great family festival with many big name acts. p.s. Wrap up warm, just in case!!


Woodsetts Gala

Where: Woodsetts Showground

Performances in the showground from 11.00 AM. A traditional and regular appearance for Frumptarn at this well run & extensive gala. Hopefully we'll be asked to play in the beer tent again!


Towersey Folk Festival

When: 28 August 2010
Where: Oxfordshire

Towersey Folk Festival (http://www.towerseyfestival.com). Performances during the day in the main arena. Frumptarn are part of 69 hours of entertainment over 5 days across 7 stages. This is a major summer festival with many top line acts.


Wem Carnival

When: 4 September 2010
Where: Shropshire

Wem Carnival (http://www.wemcarnival.co.uk). Performances during the day and as part of torchlight procession. This will be our first performance at Wem.


Holmfirth Food & Drink Festival

When: 25-26 September 2010
Where: Holmfirth, West Yorkshire

Frumptarn have been invited back following their successful performances over the last two years. Always a good time playing to a good crowd. (http://www.holmfirthfoodanddrinkfestival.com) - playing at various times in and around the open air German bar and at other locations in the village.


Barnsley Christmas Markets
